Get in touch

Questions, problems, feature requests — email [email protected] and a person (the person who built it) answers. The fastest route is the Contact Us button in the app's Settings — it attaches the version details we'd otherwise have to ask you for.

Does it really work offline?

Yes — that's the point of the app. Identification runs entirely on your phone, and the regulations, species guide, and your catch log are all stored on the device. Forty miles out with no signal, everything works. An internet connection is only used for backup, sync, and keeping the rules and guide fresh.

Why do I need an account?

Your account (Sign in with Apple) is what backs up your catch log and moves it to your next phone. Without it, a lost phone is a lost log. We use it for nothing else — no ads, no tracking, and your spots are never shown to anyone.

The identification looks wrong — what do I do?

Tell the app: every result has a correction flow ("Wrong fish"), and corrections make the identifier better for everyone. For the best results, fill the frame with the fish — broadside, fins visible. And remember the rule the app itself follows: the ID is an aid, not a guarantee. Check the fish against the species page before you keep it.

Are the regulations official?

They're gathered from official state and federal sources, dated, and monitored for changes — but they are a convenience, not legal advice. The official regulations always govern. Every species page shows when its rules were last checked.

Where are my licenses stored?

On your phone and in your own iCloud — never on our servers. We cannot see them.

How do I delete my data?

Delete any catch and it's removed from our servers too, not just your phone. Delete your whole account from Settings and every catch, photo, and record we store is permanently erased.
